on repeat

The next recording is a really oldie. The Oscar Peterson Trio was live record and the sound does really tell, but that is also one of the big charms about it. I had the track "Moonlight in Vermont" for a very long time now, probably found it on some St. Germain compilation. It is really striking to hear the people cheering along and the sound of clattering cutlery in the background of people having dinner at the same time. Epic.

The next man is a man I previously blogged on one occasion for his work with Robert Wyatt and his contribution to the "2 Days in Paris" soundtrack. He is quite a genius. His music remains quite unfamiliar with most people and it is my goal to change that. The man deserves more respect than some people in the business are getting at this moment in time.
