We can only wait for an upcoming stream of artists who are using more and more of ways to get a bit of attention from the masses. Nowadays we already have LP's, CD's, DVD's, music videos, concerts and agencies who spend all their time trying to sell more of anything related to the artist they represent. I think we will see an upward trend of artists creating an 'histoire' on their albums and realising this through the medium of video. The sales of CD's have dropped increasingly since the 90's and artists are earning their bread mostly on sales of concert tickets and sponsoring, which is making them more innovative and finding other ways to become more popular and therefore make more money. It makes you think about the essence of being an artist. Bringing out albums each year is sometimes ridiculous and is not allowing them to develop more and become even better and more epic.
