'So you think you can pull a fast one?' Well yes, I can! I check the web each day for a leak of the new Crookers album which carries two tracks of the Italian fellas with Róisín Murphy. She showcased one of them in the Viktor & Rolf fashion show last S/S 2010 show. The single 'Orally fixated' soon followed and the beats were truly all over the place, but in a good way. It kept you bouncing all day and ready for those somewhat nasty tasks everybody has in their life. However it also felt like someone was playing a bit too much with crossfaders and chorus transformers. Of all the new remixes on the latest single 'Momma's place' the one of the Bongo Boys sounds the most put together. C90's made an entire new interpretation of the song, Shake Aletti transformed the singer into an MC, Kanji Kinetic is a lot like the Knob Jockeys version where the bass can almost drive you insane after listening it more than 2 times. Bongo Boys made a good intro and have a great deal of respect for this music diva.
