Joanna Newsom's performance of "On a good day" on David Letterman reminded me of the endearing peacocks in the Los Angeles Arboretum, where they are walking around on the grounds doing not a lot but strutting with their beautiful look. It also makes me want to go even more to the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris, where mounted animals are displayed. Hopefully all animals are killed by a natural cause and not by the haunting gear displayed in the other room of the museum.
