Almost no one's voice is more unique and magical than Yukimi Nagano's. After years of singing for and with other performers, she now seemed to find her real comfort zone within Little Dragon. Even though she is used to working with for example Koop, who are one of the most experimental bands in the scene, Little Dragon's live performance seems more conceptual and improvised than Koop's did. I think the way of making their repertoire is reversed. Where Koop seems much more experimental in the way they make music, Little Dragon's music sounds safer and quieter on record, but playing live allows them to really be different from the rest.
