Kisses is a band with a pretty today feel, and their sound can be described as contemporary, easy-listening and groovy. I feel they have taken over from Metronomy and have developed into something way beyond that. The sound is somewhat DFA, somewhat Moshi Moshi, but it's the two band members who have created their own sound instead of some label boss. They're doing a show with Jens Lekman, a singer with very comparable music although Kisses leave out the cheeky vocals. It's to the point, and it works.
