Usually I'm all about Jamie Lidell's remix work, perhaps more than his originals. But in this case I find his version of Tiga's "Sex o'clock" a bit disappointing. It seems he got a bit stuck after the Jim album. Yet the Playgroup version does not disappoint. It is more quiet than the Aguayo remix, more professional even I would say. This is always the case with Playgroup, or should I say Trevor Jackson, mixing it up since 2000, producing since forever. If I would choose only one artist to do a set and go out of my mind, it would be Playgroup.
