This Lauren ain't no LC, but she did grow up in the U.S. of A. Tennessee, to be exact. Six years, five tattoos and 3 piercings along the road, she finds herself in the UK. Where she is songwriting and playing bars and festivals. The reworks of the song 'Stuck' are not particularly growing on me, but the original is dead on strong. 'If I'm stuck, at least I'm stuck with you' is one of the catchy phrases which can have several meanings without a doubt. If you happen to be stuck in a place as seen on the above picture, I suspect no fear. It's quite a shame that her label is trying to freshen her up with some slick remixes, while we all can hear that this young girl performs best on her own with a guitar and piano. It also does not help that they are very reluctant in sending out information on their soon-to-be star. Her best gigs must be in a smokey nightclub, a cigarette in her right hand (I'm positive she's a smoker) and a slick attire on her to get the best impression of that fine soul.Thursday, January 28, 2010
